Periodontics

Periodontics is the dental specialty that focuses exclusively on the inflammatory disease that destroys the gums and other structures which support the teeth, collectively known as the periodontium. Our Department deals with a detailed study of normal structures of the periodontium. Periodontics deals with the preventive and corrective measures in the management of gingival and periodontal diseases. The specialty also concerns itself with the maintenance of health, function, and esthetics of these structures and tissues.
